Margaret Oliver - Obituary


It is with great sadness that we report the death of Liz Cooper's mother, Margaret Oliver on 18th March, aged 95.

I lifelong Christian, Margaret has gone home after a long illness.

We send our thoughts and prayers to Liz, Ray and Family.

The funeral will be on April 2nd 11.00am at St Francis.

Confirmation Service


Congratulations to our church members who were confirmed at a very busy service at St Mary's Church tonight.

The Bishop of Bedford, The Rt. Revd Richard Inwood presided.

Those confirmed were:-

Christopher Box
Beth Davey
Jennifer Davey
Laura Davey
Adam Deacon


In addition Teresa Allen was received into the Church of England.

It was a very busy day for Christopher who was Baptised during the morning service at St Francis.

Obituary


Sadly we report the death of George Moss on Sunday 20th August.

George was a member of the 9.15 congregation for many years.

His funeral will be on Tuesay 29th August, 2.30pm at St Francis. If you are able to come and support Gwen and the family, you would be most welcome.

Congratulations - Alison Franklin


Alison Franklin is to be married to Dr Laurence Kemp on Saturday August 19th. in Cambridge.

Alison was an active member or St Francis church during her teenage years until she left to go to university. She was a member of Junction 10, and also led a "cell group" of younger teenagers.

We wish her well in her married life.

Hello from Arua again!



Life is Arua is very stimulating. I love my new house and garden. Now that the rains have come its full of all kinds of fruit and veg like water melons, lettuces, lemons and tomatoes and I love pottering around it in the evening when I get home from work.
